Description:
After our volunteers complete a short training, Hospice volunteers can assist in many ways, including phone calls, in person companionship, sitting vigil, family support, expressive arts, or clerical tasks in the office. We are also looking for Veterans to visit fellow Veterans for comradery and honor, and certified pet therapy teams to share a furry friend. Our program offers continued support and flexible schedules based on volunteer availability and location.
Skills / Experience:
No experience is necessary - some qualities or skills that would be helpful are; a kind heart, minimal computer skills, and an active listener.
