Description:
Affiliated with Lions Clubs International, the Putnam II Leo Club is a community-based service club sponsored by the Putnam Lions Club. Chartered in April 2010, the club’s goal is to provide middle and high school students with service opportunities. Recognized as an area student activity, Leos attend private and public middle and high schools in Killingly, Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson, and Woodstock. Projects include Putnam Beautification Day, food and diaper drives, recycling eyeglasses and used cell phones, Holiday Dazzle Light Parade, Lions Club Volleyball Challenge, Special Olympics, and other community activities.
Skills / Experience:
No experience needed, must meet age requirements (12 to 18).
