Description:
CHOICES helps Connecticut's older adults and other people with Medicare understand their Medicare coverage and healthcare options. The CHOICES program is seeking volunteers to learn the complex system of Medicare and Medicare related insurances and programs to assist those becoming eligible for Medicare. If interested you will need to complete an application; after review of the application you will be interviewed followed by a background check. Application deadline is August 13, 2021. Orientation is scheduled for August 31, 2021, and training dates are: September 8th, 10th, 14th, 17th, 21st and 24th. All five days of training are required.
Skills / Experience:
Interested volunteers should be internet/computer savvy.
